#17 Oilers Roll to 93-51 Win Over Fighting Scots

The 17th-ranked University of Findlay men's basketball team came away with a 93-51 win over Ohio Valley University on Jan. 12 inside the Croy Physical Education Center. The win pushes the Oilers record to 14-2 on the season with an 8-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot 57.6 percent (38-of-66) from the floor and drained 9-of-22 (40.9%) attempts from behind the three point line. They also forced 19 turnovers and held the Fighting Scots to a mere 28.8 percent (17-of-59) shooting clip.

Junior forward Aaron Overhiser led the way with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting while sophomore forward Anthony Masterlasco had 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Sophomore forward Chazz George came off the bench to tie his career-high with 13 points while freshman guard Ethan Linder had 12 points and five assists.

Senior forward Alex White also reached double figures with 11 points to go along with nine rebounds and five blocks, while junior guard Corbin Linder had eight points off the pine.

The Fighting Scots were led by Christian Alley's nine points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Jan. 19 when they host Hillsdale College at 1pm.
