Oilers To Host Semifinals & Finals This Weekend

The University of Findlay will serve as host for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) men's basketball semifinals and final on March 6-7 in Niekamp Arena.

Friday Schedule

Game 1: Walsh vs. Findlay, 6pm
Game 2: Malone vs. Kentucky Wesleyan, 8pm

Saturday Schedule

Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2, 2pm

Tickets

The doors for the event will open one hour before the scheduled start time of each session. Friday's doubleheader will be one session.

Ticket prices are as follows:

$15 | Reserved (Only for Findlay Games)
$10 | General Admission
$5 | Students (6-17)

Tickets for the games can be purchased at the door the day of the game or you can visit the UF athletic office on the second floor of the Croy Physical Education Center on Wednesday, March 4 through Thursday, March 5 from 10am-3pm. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to buy their seats. If they are not purchased by tipoff on Friday, the tickets will be put back into circulation for sale.

Findlay

The Oilers are 21-7 on the season and won a share of their third straight G-MAC regular season title during the 2019-20 season. The team is led by junior guard Tommy Schmock who averages 11.1 points, 6.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.8 steals per game. Freshman forward Nathan Bruns is Findlay's leading scorer at 11.6 points per contest. He also records 5.4 rebounds per outing.

The Cavaliers are 23-6 on the season and have been led by junior guard Darryl Straughter who is averaging 17.2 points per game. Sophomore forward JT Shumate is averaging 14.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while freshman guard Christian Montague is producing 12.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per contest.

The Pioneers are 17-12 on the season and are led by junior guard Jaret Majestic who is averaging 16.0 points per game. Junior forward Marcus Ernst has also had a great season and sports averages of 14.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per outing while senior forward Sehill Mouliom is chipping in 13.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest.

Kentucky Wesleyan

The Panthers are 12-15 on the season and have been led by senior guard Adam Goetz who is averaging 16.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Wyatt Battaile is registering 10.4 points per game while junior guard Zach Hopewell is contributing 10.0 points per outing.
