Bostic To Play in TBT With Armored Athlete

Former University of Findlay men's basketball standout Josh Bostic will take part in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a $2 million winner-take-all event slated to be held on July 4-14 in Columbus, Ohio at Nationwide Arena. Bostic, the 2009 NCAA Division II National Player of the Year, will play with Armored Athlete.

Bostic has had a long and successful professional career after leading the Oilers to the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship and has spent the past two seasons with Asseco Arka Gdynia in Poland. He was named the Polish League MVP in 2018-19 and sported averages of 19.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game during the 2019-20 campaign.

While at Findlay from 2006-09, Bostic racked up 1,705 career points. His point total is the ninth-best in program history. A two-time NCAA Division II All-American, Josh was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Player of the Year in 2009 and was voted all-GLIAC three times during his career.

Bostic's team will begin the tournament by taking on Power of the Paw in the first round. Power of the Paw is comprised of former players from Clemson University. All TBT games will be televised on ESPN networks. Tournament information can be found below:
