#24 Oilers Host Fighting Scots on Sunday

The 24th-ranked Oilers will be at home on Dec. 13 to host Ohio Valley University in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) showdown. The game is scheduled to start at 3pm inside the Croy Physical Education Center.

Series Information

The Oilers hold an 8-0 advantage in the all-time series against Ohio Valley dating back to the 2002-03 campaign when Findlay came away with a 94-73 win.

The Oilers won their only game against the Scots last year by a score of 79-55 in Vienna, W. Va.

Anthony Masterlasco led five Oilers in double figures with 17 points on 7–of-13 shooting while Tommy Schmock and sEthan Linder each contributed 12 points apiece.

Aaron Overhiser and Tre'Maine Gray each had ten points apiece while Deven Stover had eight.

The Oilers shot 47.0 percent (31-of-66) from the floor and held Ohio Valley to a mere 29.7 percent (19-of-64) shooting clip in the victory. They also came away with nine steals and grabbed 14 offensive rebounds in the game.

The Fighting Scots did hold an advantage on the boards, outrebounding the Oilers by a 45-40 margin.They also grabbed 21 offensive rebounds in the game.

Dylan Harrison, Keon Claiborne, and Parker Black each had 12 points apiece to lead the Scots.

#24 Findlay

The Oilers are 2-0 on the season and are led by sophomore forward Nathan Bruns who is averaging 14.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco is chipping in 13.5 points per outing while sophomore guard Joey Edmonds and junior guard Ethan Linder are scoring 11.5 points per game.

Senior guard Tommy Schmock is also averaging in double figures at 11.0 points per game while contributing 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest.

The Fighting Scots are 1-1 on the season and are averaging 104.5 points per game, but giving up 109.0 points per contest.

Keon Claiborne leads the team with averages of 25.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest while Cameron Shaw is averaging 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

Christian Alley is contributing 18.0 points per game while Parker Black is contributing 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per outing.
