Bruns Named Player of the Week

Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Dec. 14 after recording a pair of double-doubles in two Findlay wins last week.

In the Oilers 89-74 win over Tiffin University on Dec. 11, Bruns made 10-of-16 shot attempts and finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds to go along with three assists. He then followed that performance with 13 points and ten boards in the Oilers 97-65 victory over Ohio Valley University on Dec. 13.

For the week, Bruns averaged 17.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest. He also shot 60 percent (15-of-25) from the floor and dished out 2.0 assists per game.
