Oilers Jump 9 Spots | Ranked 15th

The University of Findlay men's basketball team climbed nine spots in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Dec. 15. The Oilers, who were ranked 24th in the nation last week, are now ranked 15th.

The Oilers are 3-0 on the season and are averaging 88.7 points per game. They have also rebounded the ball well, grabbing 46.0 boards per contest to out-rebound their opponents by 14.7 per game.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco leads the team in scoring at 16.0 points per game while connecting on 64.5 percent of his field goal attempts.

Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns is averaging 13.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while junior guard Ethan Linder is contributing 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per outing.

Senior guard Tommy Schmock is also averaging in double figures at 10.7 points per contest while adding 5.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.

They will be back in action again on Dec. 17 when they host Trevecca Nazarene University at 7:30 p.m. in a non-conference contest.
