15th-Ranked Oilers Host Trevecca on Thursday

The 15th-ranked Oilers will be at home on Dec. 17 to host Trevecca Nazarene University in a non-conference contest. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. inside the Croy Physical Education Center.

Series Information

The Oilers hold an 9-0 lead in the all-time series against the Trojans dating back to the 2016-17 campaign when Findlay claimed an 85-63 win on the road.

Earlier this season the Oilers defeated the Trojans 80-73 in Niekamp Arena.

The Oilers only shot 41.5 percent (27-of-65) from the floor, which included a 7-of-31 (22.6%) showing from three point range, but converted 19-of-23 (82.6%) tries from the free throw line in the win. The Trojans meanwhile made 48.2 percent (27-of-56) of their field goal attempts and 47.8 percent (11-of-23) of their three point tries. They made all of their free throw attempts in the game as well, but only went to the line eight times.

Tommy Schmock led the way with 17 points while Joey Edmonds came off the bench to tie his career-high with 14 points. Edmonds also added five rebounds, five assists, and a pair of steals in the victory.

Anthony Masterlasco had 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting while Ethan Linder rounded out the Oilers in double figures with ten points to go along with seven rebounds.

Deven Stover nearly reached double figures with eight points and six rebounds while Tre'Maine Gray had seven points.

Chris Rogers led the Trojans with 23 points.

#15 Findlay

The Oilers are 3-0 on the season and are averaging 88.7 points per game. They have also rebounded the ball well, grabbing 46.0 boards per contest to out-rebound their opponents by 14.7 per game.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco leads the team in scoring at 16.0 points per game while connecting on 64.5 percent of his field goal attempts.

Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns is averaging 13.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game while junior guard Ethan Linder is contributing 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per outing.

Senior guard Tommy Schmock is also averaging in double figures at 10.7 points per contest while adding 5.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.

The Trojans are 0-3 on the season with a 0-2 record in conference play.

Brendan Newton leads the team in scoring at 16.3 points per game and is also averaging 7.7 rebounds per contest.

Chris Rogers is scoring 12.7 points per outing while Austin Willis is also averaging in double figures at 10.0 points per game.

As a team, the Trojans are averaging 60.0 points per game and giving up 76.7 points per contest to their opponents.
