#11 Oilers Rout Dragons 85-57

The 11th-ranked University of Findlay men's basketball team came away with an 85-57 win over Tiffin University on Jan. 14 in Tiffin, Ohio. The victory pushes the Oilers record to 7-1 on the season with a 6-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot an incredible 68 percent (34-of-50) from the floor and canned 12-of-20 (60%) three point attempts in the win. They also held a 33-18 advantage on the boards and had 11 players score in the game.

Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns led the way with 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting while senior guard Tre'Maine Gray had 12 points on the strength of a 4-of-5 showing from behind the three point line.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco finished with 11 points and seven rebounds while junior forward Brady Wildermuth had 11 points as well to round out the Oilers in double figures.

Tanner Johnson paced the Dragons with 21 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Jan. 21 when they travel to Owensboro, Ky. to face Kentucky Wesleyan College at 8:45 p.m.
