#12 Oilers Cruise By Walsh | Win 93-63

The 12th-ranked University of Findlay men's basketball team crushed Walsh University by a score of 93-63 on Feb. 11 in Niekamp Arena to run their record to 13-3 on the season. They also improved their Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) mark to 12-3.

The Oilers shot 48.4 percent (30-of-62) from the floor and made a season-high 14-of-29 (48.3%) of their three point tries. They also held Walsh to a mere 31.7 percent (20-of-63) shooting clip and came away with ten steals in the win.

Senior guard Tommy Schmock led the way with 24 points as he made a career-high 6-of-9 tries from behind the three point line. Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns also played well as he finished with 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Junior forward Deven Stover came off the bench to provide 11 points while senior guard Tre'Maine Gray had ten. Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco nearly reached double figures as well as he finished with nine points.

The Oilers had 13 players score including senior guard Cooper Wall, who finished with two points on senior day.

The Cavaliers were led by Darryl Straughter's 23 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they travel to Canton, Ohio to take on Malone University at 3pm.
