#23 Oilers Rout Panthers | Win 95-65

The 23rd-ranked University of Findlay men's basketball team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College 95-65 on Feb. 16 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers a 14-4 record on the season with a 13-4 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers were hot from three point range in the win as they connected on a season-high 16-of-24 (66.7%) attempts. They also shot 53.7 percent (36-of-67) from the field and dished out 26 assists in the game.

Freshman forward Andrew Owens paced Findlay with a career-high 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting. He made a career-high 6-of-7 attempts from behind the three point line and also contributed four rebounds and three assists.

Sophomore forward Nathan Bruns had 19 points and eight boards while senior guard Tommy Schmock finished with 17 points, eight assists, and three steals.

Junior forward Brady Wildermuth came off the bench to record 11 points and four rebounds while senior forward Anthony Masterlasco had nine points, six rebounds, and three assists.

The Panthers were led by Wyatt Battaile's 16 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Thursday when they travel to Vienna, W. Va. to face Ohio Valley University at 7:30 p.m.
