6th-Ranked Trojans Beat Oilers 90-61

The University of Findlay men's basketball team fell 90-61 against sixth-ranked Truman State University on Nov. 13 in Quincy, Ill. The loss evens the Oilers record at 1-1 on the year.

The Oilers only hit 40.7 percent (24-of-59) of their field goal attempts in the game while the Trojans converted 54.7 percent (35-of-64) of their shots. Truman State also made 12-of-23 (52.2%) attempts from behind the three point line and held a 42-24 advantage on the boards.

Senior guard Tre'Maine Gray paced Findlay with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting while freshman forward Josh Thorbahn came off the bench to provide nine points on 3-of-7 shooting.

Junior forward Nathan Bruns recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists, while senior forward Anthony Masterlasco had eight points and three assists.

The Trojans were led by Cade McKnight's game-high 27 points.

The Oilers will now return home and prepare to host Northwood University on Nov. 18 at 7pm.
