The University of Findlay men's basketball team cruised to a 91-68 win over Northwood University on Nov. 18 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers a 2-1 record on the season.
The Oilers shot 55.9 percent (33-of-59) from the floor and drilled 7-of-16 (43.8%) of their attempts from behind the three point line. They also held a 33-28 advantage on the boards and came away with six steals in the victory.
Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco led the team with 22 points and four rebounds while junior forward Nathan Bruns hit 8-of-9 shot attempts on his way to 21 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.
Senior guard Tre'Maine Gray reached double figures with 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists while junior guard Joey Edmonds posted ten points and six assists.
The Timberwolves were led by Jack Ammerman's 20 points.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Nov. 20 when they host St. Thomas Aquinas at 1pm.
