Oilers Win 6th Straight | Beat Panthers 71-64

The University of Findlay men's basketball team won their sixth straight game with a 71-64 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan College on Jan. 20 in Niekamp Arena. The win gives the Oilers an 11-5 record on the season with a 5-3 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers shot 46.2 percent (24-of-52) from the floor and made 38.9 percent (7-of-18) of their three point attempts in the game. They also finished 16-of-19 (84.2%) from the free throw line.

Junior forward Nathan Bruns had another big game to lead Findlay as he recorded 21 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.

Senior forward Brady Wildermuth added 14 points while senior guard Tre'Maine Gray chipped in 12.

The Panthers were led by Wyatt Battaile and Nathan Boyle's 12 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they host Trevecca Nazarene University at 2pm. The game was originally scheduled to tip at 3pm, but was moved up since the women's game was postponed.
