Yellow Jackets Snap Oilers Winning Streak

The University of Findlay men's basketball team saw their eight-game winning streak come to an end on Jan. 31 in Cedarville, Ohio as the Yellow Jackets cruised to an 89-57 win over the Oilers. The loss gives the Oilers a 13-6 record on the season with a 7-4 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers fell behind early and never recovered as the Yellow Jackets blistered the nets by hitting 14 three pointers in the game. Findlay meanwhile only made four three's and shot 39.6 percent (19-of-48) from the floor.

Senior forward Brady Wildermuth and junior forward Nathan Bruns led Findlay with nine points apiece.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Feb. 2 when they travel to Painesville, Ohio for a 5:30 p.m. game against Lake Erie College.
