Oilers Fall 82-73 at Walsh

The University of Findlay men's basketball team fell 82-73 to Walsh University on Feb. 10 in Canton, Ohio. The loss gives the Oilers a 14-7 record on the year with an 8-5 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers held a 40-38 lead at the break, but the Cavaliers went on a 16-0 run early in the second half that put the Oilers away as Daryl Straughter led the way with 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting.

Senior forward Anthony Masterlasco led the Oilers with 18 points while senior guard Tre'Maine Gray had 17.

Junior forward Nathan Bruns also reached double figures with 13 points while senior forward Deven Stover had eight.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they host Malone University at 3pm in Niekamp Arena.
