Oilers Blast Malone | Win 96-72

The University of Findlay men's basketball team defeated Malone University by a score of 96-72 on Feb. 12 in Niekamp Arena. The victory gives the Oilers a 15-7 record on the season with a 9-5 mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.

The Oilers blistered the nets to the tune of a 60 percent (36-of-60) shooting clip while holding the Pioneers to 42.9 percent (27-of-63) shooting. They also held a 34-30 advantage on the boards and came away with ten steals in the win.

Junior forward Nathan Bruns led six Findlay players in double figures with 17 points, ten rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks.

Senior guard Ethan Linder came off the bench to score 16 points while senior guard Tre'Maine Gray also had 16 points in the game.

Junior guard Joey Edmonds had 13 points and five assists while senior forwards Brady Wildermuth and Deven Stover had 11 points apiece.

The Pioneers were led by Bo Myers' game-high 21 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Feb. 15 when they host Walsh University at 6pm in Niekamp Arena.
