#7 Oilers in Fourth Place at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate

Results

Sevierville, TN- The University of Findlay men's golf team completed round one of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate on Sunday, March 14th. The Oilers, playing in a field comprised of mostly NCAA Division I teams, shot a 4-under par 284 in the opening round are in fourth place with two rounds to go.

Junior Tanner Grzegorczyk led the Oilers with an opening round 68 (-4), good for fourth at the tournament. Grzegorcyzk had seven birdies in the round, the best mark in the field.

Senior Luke Kelly was not far off behind after firing a 71 (-1) which included one birdie on his opening hole and 17 straight pars. Kelly's one under par round one score places him in a tie for 14th.

Freshman Justin Atkinson shot a 71 (-1) as well in round one that included three birdies and placing him in a tie for 14th.

Senior Parker Haynes in a tie for 44th after shooting a 74 (+2) including four birdies on the round.

Rounding out the Oilers on day one was junior Caleb Westfall who tallied a score of 80 (+8) which places him in 70th.

The second round will continue on Monday, March 15th at Sevierville Golf Club River Course.
