6 Oilers Earn Scholar All-American Honors

The University of Findlay men's golf program had six student-athletes named NCAA Division II All-American Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Aug. 6 for their academic achievements during the 2020-21 campaign.

Hunter Foltz, Tanner Grzegorczyk, Parker Haynes, Brock Kehres, Luke Kelly, and Caleb Westfall all earned the honors for the Oilers.

The awards, which are presented by Srixon/Cleveland Golf, are presented yearly to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. In addition, they must participate in 40-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
