The University of Findlay men's golf team took fourth place at the Kyle Ryman Memorial, which wrapped up third round action on Oct. 5 at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio. The Oilers posted a 4-under par score of 860 (282, 291, 287) at the event, the second-lowest 54-hole mark in program history.

The team was led by sophomore Justin Atkinson who won his first collegiate event with a school record-tying, 8-under par score of 208 (70, 70, 68). Atkinson was 7-under par at the tournament on the par-5's and posted a tournament-best 17 birdies. He now shares the school record with Sam Griffith, who fired an 8-under par score of 208 at the Brickyard Fall Invitational in 2020.

Senior Tanner Grzegorczyk tied for tenth at the event with a 1-under par score of 215 (70, 72, 73) while senior Caleb Westfall tied for 29th with a 3-over par score of 219 (72, 76, 71).

Sophomore Donnie Professori tied for 33rd with a 220 (72, 73, 75) and senior Hunter Foltz tied for 49th with a 225 (70, 76, 79).

The Oilers also sent a "B" team to the event and they finished tenth with an 886 (291, 286, 309). The group was led by freshman Jonathan Green who tied for 13th with an even-par score of 216 (72, 65, 79).

Sophomore Connor Ohlrich tied for 24th with a 218 (70, 73, 75), senior Parker Haynes tied for 49th with a 225 (74, 75, 76), senior Brock Kehres tied for 57th with a 227 (75, 73, 79), and freshman Tyler Vallee tied for 84th with a 239 (78, 77, 84).

The Oilers will be back in action again on Oct. 10-11 at the Motor City Invite at TPC Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan.
