Grzegorczyk Earns Athlete of the Week After Record-Setting Performance

Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its' selections for Athlete of the Week on Monday, Sep. 12. Findlay men's golfer Tanner Grzegorczyk has picked up the weekly award after a record-setting performance at the Arendsen Invite which was hosted by Grand Valley St. University on Sep. 4-5.

The Oilers number one player turned in a memorable performance at The Meadows, GVSU's home course, as he finished in a tie for the lead, ultimately finishing runner-up after a two-hole playoff. He started off with an incredible first day of competition, shooting 70 (-1) in the first round before firing off a G-MAC and Findlay record 64 (-7) in the second 18 of the day. That 64 tied a course record, as well.

His 36-hole score of 134 (-8) shattered the G-MAC 36-hole record and also a new program 36-hole record.
