Oilers Cruise past Cats

The Oilers defeated Kentucky Weslyean on the road 5-1 on Sep. 18th.

The Oilers started the game off strong with a goal from junior Harrison Szep assisted by sophomore Nick McCracken within the first minute of the game. Findlay kept the goals coming in the 36th minute with a goal from junior David Hug, once again assisted by Nick McCracken. Sophomore Zach Lauron got in on the action in the 42nd minute with a goal assisted by David Hug to round out a stellar first half for the Oilers.

Frrshman Christian Palushaj started off the second half with a goal assisted by sophomore Peyton Trask in the 57th minute. David Hug scored again unassisted in the 69th minute to finish up the scoring frenzy by the Oilers.

Oilers goalie Kolton Crouch also recorded 4 saves while only allowing one goal in the Oilers blow out win.

Findlay is back in action on Sep. 23 at Lake Erie at 1 o'clock.
