Findlay Gets Edged Out by Lake Erie

The Findlay Oilers lost on Sep. 23 on the road at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium to the Lake Erie College Storm.

The Storm scored first in this match with a goal from Tom Pearson assisted by Tomas Fernandez in the 30th minute. The Oilers battled back when junior David Hug scored his second goal of the season off an assist from fellow junior Harrison Szep. However the Strom scored the winning goal on a penalty kick from Ayden Von Essen in the 70th minute of the contest.

Oilers goalkeeper Andrew Boulton recorded two saves during the match. 

Findlay will be back in action on the road on Sep. 25 when the head to Tiffin University for a match against the Dragons.
