Oilers Take Down Trojans

The University of Findlay men's soccer team defeated Trevecca Nazerene at home on Oct. 2 by a score of 1-0. The Oilers are now 4-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in GMAC play. 

Both teams were held scoreless in the first half of regualtion due to some excellent work in goal by both teams goalkeepers. 

The Oilers broke the tie in the 82nd minute when freshman Christian Palushaj scored off an assist from senior Ben Bolinger giving Christian his second goal of the season. 

Oilers goalkeeper Andrew Boulton recorded 7 saves in his sixth career shutout in goal for Findlay. 

Findlay will be back in action on Oct. 7 when they travel to take on the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.
