Findlay Comes up Short Against #22 Walsh

The University of Findlay Men's soccer team was defeated by the Walsh University Cavaliers who are currently the 22nd ranked team in the nation. This brings the Oilers record to 4-6-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the Greatmidwest Athletic Conference.

Walsh started the scoring off in the 16th minute when Dominic O'Connor scored off of a pass from Nathan Kolke. That was all in the first half as both goaltenders did not allow anything else to get by.

Walsh scored first in the second half as well when Jac Humphreys scored off an assist from teammate Patrick O'Halloran in the 65th minute. The Oilers answered quickly with a goal of their own in the 71st minute when sophomore Nick McCracken scored off of an assist from senior Patryk Kibler. This was McCrackens sixth goal of the season.

Oilers goalkeeper sophomore Andrew Boulton recorded 6 saves in the contest.

Findlay will be back in action at home on Oct. 14 when they take on the Tiffin University Dragons.
