Lauron's Hat Trick Powers Findlay to 3-0 Win

The University of Findlay men's soccer team defeated Tiffin University 3-0 on Oct. 14 at DeHaven Field. The victory gives the Oilers a 5-6-1 record on the season with a 4-4-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Sophomore Zach Lauron had a huge game for Findlay as he registered a hat trick to lead the Oilers to victory. Lauron scored off of an assist from sophomore Peyton Trask in the 20th minute and then found the back of the net for two goals back-to-back in the 78th and 79th minutes to round out the scoring. His second goal came off of assists from freshman Sammy Linville and senior Bjoern Gilles while his third was assisted by sophomore Nick McCracken.

Sophomore Andrew Boulton picked up the victory and made nine saves for Findlay.

The Oilers will be back in action on Saturday when they host Malone at 1pm.
