Oilers Blank Pioneers | Win 3-0

The University of Findlay men's soccer team defeated Malone University 3-0 on Oct. 16 at DeHaven Field. The win gives the Oilers a 6-6-1 record on the season with a 5-4-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Fresh off of a hat trick on Thursday, sophomore Zach Lauron picked up where he left off by scoring the Oilers first goal only three minutes into the game off of an assist from senior Bjoern Gilles. Freshman Christian Palushaj then added a goal in the 16th minute while junior David Hug closed out the scoring in the 63rd minute.

Junior Andrew Boulton picked up the victory and made five saves for Findlay.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Oct. 23 when they travel to Ashland, Ohio to take on Ashland University at 4pm.
