Oilers Beat Ashland on the Road | Win Three Straight

Ashland, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's soccer team traveled to Ashland, Ohio to take on the Ashland University Eagles for their second Great-Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) contest of the year on Saturday, Sept 10. With the win the Oilers advance to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. 

The Oilers started the game out strong with two goals in the first half of play. Goal number one came off the foot of junior Nick McCracken in the 15th minute of play off an assist from senior David Hug. The second goal of the half for the Oilers came from senior Christian Palushaj in the 19th minute off an assist from freshman Ryan Dickinson.

There would be no more action for either team the rest of the game as Findlay would win 2-0.

Senior Andrew Boulton would record the shutout in goal for the Oilers as he recorded 3 saves in the game.

Findlay will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 17 when they travel to Canton, Ohio to take on the Walsh University Cavaliers at 7:30pm.
