Findlay, OH- The University of Findlay Men's soccer team took on the Cedarville University Yellowjackets at home on Thursday Sept 29. Findlay would hope to advance their 6-2-1 overall record and their 4-1-1 record in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
The first 45 minutes of action saw a back and forth battle that ultimatly ended with no team scoring.
Cedarville would start the second half off with a goal to break to the tie in the 48th minute.
The Yellowjackets would extend their lead in the 67th minute with a goal to make the score 2-0 where it would stay for the rest of the game.
Senior Andrew Boulton would start in goal for the Oilers and would record 2 saves in the contest.
With the loss the Oilers drop to 6-3-1 on the season and 4-2-1 in the G-MAC. The men will be back on the pitch on Saturday Oct 1 at DeHaven and take on the Ohio Dominican Panthers at 1 PM.
