Findlay Under Consideration in NCAA Regional Rankings
Findlay, Ohio - On Wednesday, Oct. 19, the NCAA revealed its' first look into teams that are vying for position in the 2022 NCAA DII Men's Soccer Super Region 3. These teams are listed as under consideration in the initial reveal and will be ranked in subsequent weeks leading up to the final ranking which will be released on Nov. 2.
The University of Findlay men's soccer team is currently 8-6-1 on the season and likely needs a strong push at the end of the year to be one of the teams selected for NCAA postseason play. The Oilers' men have not made an appearance in the NCAA regional since 2003 when the team made a run all the way to the NCAA Division II Final Four.
The G-MAC currently has four teams under consideration.
