Findlay Wins Over G-MAC Newcomer Northwood

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's tennis team, ranked #49 in the country in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), picked up a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) win on Saturday, March 18. The Oilers came away with 4-1 victory over conference newcomer Northwood University to improve to 8-6 on the year while extending their win streak to three. 

Findlay began by winning the doubles point, picking up wins at second and third doubles. 

The Timberwoods would then even out the score at 1-1 with a win in the second singles match.

Wins by sophomore Luigi Bove and senior Alfredo Berlanga brought the score to 3-1. It was ultimately junior Wilfredo Lara who clinched his match at the fourth spot, giving Findlay the win over the Timberwolves.
