Oilers Blanked by Dragons | Regular Season Ends in G-MAC Semifinal
Owensboro, Ky. – The University of Findlay men's tennis team participated in the semifinals of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament on Friday, April 21 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Taking on the Tiffin University Dragons, the Oilers were defeated by a score of 4-0 after dropping the doubles point and first, second, and third singles.
With the loss, Findlay will await the decision of the NCAA regional ranking committee which is tasked with selecting the participants for the NCAA DII Regional and National Championship Tournament. Currently in ninth in the standings, the Oilers would need to jump up in the standings to earn the right to continue their season.
