Oilers Softball Signs 3

UF Softball inked three more players during the April signing period to go along with the five who were signed in November. The new signees include Katie Dunphy from Perrysburg High School, Jenna Huff of Nordonia High School and Jenna Inman from Notre Dame High School in Toledo.

Dunphy, a shortstop, has been an All-Northern Lakes League and All-Northwest District selection, and has tied the season home run record and eclipsed both the season doubles record and season runs scored record at Perrysburg. She has also received Perrysburg's team award and defensive player-of-the-year award. Huff, a catcher and infielder, has received All-Suburban League honors and has served for two years as Nordonia's team captain while earning four letters in softball. Inman, a pitcher, has earned All-Tri County Athletic Conference honors while helping lead Notre Dame to a Northwest District title and a regional final, and has served as a co-captain.

Oilers head coach Ron Ammons explains, "We are graduating four outstanding and productive seniors, with seven juniors to follow. Adding these three talented signees plus the five earlier helps to renew our pool of talent."
