Trumpler Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Sophomore infielder Lauren Trumpler was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Softball Player of the Week on April 27.

Trumpler got her bat going last week by hitting .692 (18-for-26) in the Oilers eight games. She clubbed four home runs and drove in 15 runs in leading the Oilers to a 4-4 record. Trumpler also scored ten runs and smashed five doubles.

The Tiffin, Ohio native is hitting .350 on the season with five home runs and 32 runs batted in.
