Softball Stays at 7th in Midwest Regional Ranking
The University of Findlay softball team held their ranking this past week, remaining seventh in the latest NCAA Division II Midwest Region rankings.
The Oilers currently lead the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) with 32 wins, posting a record of 32-10 and 16-2 in conference. An 18-game winning streak was halted last weekend, but with four games remaining, Findlay is still very much alive for the regular season conference crown.
When the full NCAA field is announced May 9, the region's top eight teams will be paired off into two double-elimination tournaments, held on campus sites May 12-14. The winners of two sub-brackets will advance to face off in a best-of-three Super Regional May 19-20 to determine the Midwest's representative at the 2022 NCAA Softball Championships, held in Denver on May 26-30.
