Oilers Pick Up Six All-Conference Selections | Lowe Named Coach of Year

Findlay, Ohio- Danielle Lowe was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Co-Coach of the Year as the league office unveiled their annual postseason awards on May 5.

Lowe has led the Oilers to a 34-12 record on the season with an 18-4 mark in league play. She was also tabbed with the award during the 2018 campaign.

Seniors Megan Demler, Lexie Hilling, and Caroline Turner all earned first team all-conference honors for the Oilers as well.

Demler has been a threat all over the field for Findlay this season as she has hit .393 with six home runs, 27 runs batted in, and 37 runs scored. She also had a 16-5 record in the circle with 2.47 earned run average. Demler has also struck out 161 hitters in 130.1 innings pitched.

Hilling has a .416 batting average with eight home runs and 31 runs batted in. She also has a 10-5 record in the circle while Turner is hitting .363 with three home runs and 35 runs batted in.

Sophomore Avery Shepherd and freshman Brooke Radermacher were both awarded second team all-conference honors while senior Devyn Zuro earned third team all-conference accolades.

Shepherd is hitting .376 with ten home runs, 45 runs scored, and 30 runs batted in while Radermacher is hitting .333 with eight home runs and 34 runs batted in. Zuro meanwhile is hitting .321 with two home runs and 21 runs batted in.
