Demler | Hilling Earn All-Region Honors from D2CCA

Seniors Megan Demler and Lexie Hilling were both voted second team all-Midwest Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on May 11.

Demler, who earned second team all-region honors last year as well, was a first team all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) pick for the Oilers this season. In the circle, Demler has a 17-6 record with a 2.41 earned run average. She also has 166 strikeouts in 142.1 innings pitched. At the plate, Demler is hitting .375 with six home runs and 27 runs batted in. She has also scored 39 runs and stolen eight bases.

Hilling, who was also named first team all-conference this season, is hitting .396 with eight home runs and 32 runs batted in. In the circle, Hilling is 11-6 on the year with a 2.79 earned run average.
