Several Swimmers Compete in Last Chance Meet

The University of Findlay men and women's swimming and diving teams sent several competitors to Eastern Michigan on Feb. 21 in a Last Chance Meet.

On the women's side, the 200-yard medley relay team of Kaley Holmstrom, Meri Cizmar, Jessica Ward and Amanda Stiegal broke their own school record with a time of 1:43.19. The team also met the NCAA "B" standard in the event.

Stiegal also had a NCAA "B" cut in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.26.

The NCAA will make a preliminary championship qualifying list on Tuesday.
