7 Oilers Earn Scholar All-America Honors

The University of Findlay men and women's swimming and diving teams had seven student-athletes earn Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on July 1.

The award recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and competed at their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Hanna Cederholm (Pre-Vet & Animal Science), Katy Kouvaris (Graphic Design), Chris McFarland (Strength & Conditioning), and Amanda Stiegal (Pre-Vet & Animal Science) all earned first team accolades from the women's team while Julia Snell (Psychology) and Kendra Polewski (Biology) earned honorable mention status.

Paul Pavala (Computer Science) earned honorable mention accolades on the men's side.
