Cederholm Named Academic All-American

University of Findlay senior swimmer Hanna Cedarholm was named to the 2020 Academic All-America® Division II Women's At-Large Third Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

The at-large program for the CoSIDA Academic All-America® program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.

Cederholm has a 3.90 grade point average and is majoring in Animal Science and Pre-Vet. She continued her storied career at Findlay by being named All-American in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke, and 200-yard medley relay by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) during the 2019-20 season.

Cederholm received the University of Findlay Mancuso Award as the top female athlete on campus and was also named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Swimmer of the Year and G-MAC Swimmer of the Meet after winning six league titles.

A first team all-conference selection, Cederholm set four school records during the 2019-20 season in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.97), 200-yard breaststroke (2:17.11), 200-yard IM (2:04.16), and 200-yard medley relay (1:42.73).
