Stollings | Shevlin Headed to National Championship

Sophomore Tim Stollings and senior Dalton Shevlin of the University of Findlay men's swimming and diving team have qualified for the 2021 NCAA Division II National Championship, which will be held on March 17-21 in Birmingham, Ala.

Stollings qualified to swim in the three different events and will enter the championship as a serious competitor to win all three. He ranks first among NCAA Division II swimmers in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 46.02 and also ranks sixth in both the 50-yard freestyle (19.73) and 100-yard backstroke (47.20). He holds school records in all three events.

Shevlin qualified for the preliminary round of the diving competition and holds a school record in the 3-meter with 327.37 points.
