Hornak Earns G-MAC Athlete of the Week

Findlay, OH - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week on Friday, Nov. 12. Findlay men's swimmer Adam Hornak picked up the honor after impressive performances in both Cleveland and Indianapolis last week.

Hornak had a win in the tri-meet with Oberlin and Cleveland State in the 200 yard freestyle by posting a time of 1:40.70, the sixth-best time in G-MAC history. He then picked up another victory the following day against Indianapolis by winning the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:53.03. He also was second in the 100 butterfly against UIndy with a time of 50.60 seconds and was runner-up again as a member of the 800 freestyle relay (6:51.69). Hornak also was fourth in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly while coming in fifth during the 200 medley relay.
