Oilers Sweep Weekly Honors

Freshmen Angel Margaritov and Macy May were named named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men and Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week on Feb. 3.

Margaritov led the Oilers to a win over Ashland University by claiming first place finishes in the 00-yard breaststroke (59.50) and 100-yard butterfly (51.59).

May led the Oilers to a pair of victories last weekend against Ashland and Bluffton University by having a hand in four wins. May individually won the 50-yard freestyle (24.81) and 100-yard butterfly at the event and was a part of two relay teams to claim first. She teamed with senior Kristina Coleman, freshman Sasha Melnyk, and sophomore Cecilia Langle to win the 200-yard medley relay (1:44.54) and paired with Coleman, Melnyk, and freshman Sarah Starkey to claim first in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:42.69).
