Oilers Pick Up Two More All-American Awards | Team in 7th at National Championship

Greensboro, NC – On Friday, March 11, the University of Findlay men's swimming and diving team picked up two more all-American honors on the third day of the NCAA DII National Championship meet held in Greensboro, NC at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Through three days of competition, the Oilers are in seventh in the team standings with 153 points scored.

Oilers standout junior Tim Stollings took home his third individual all-American award of the week, taking eighth in the 100 yard backstroke, finishing the race in a time of 46.86. It is the third consecutive year that Stollings has earned all-American in the event.

Sophomore Daniel Garcia kept his impressive week going as he took sixth place in the 100 yard breaststroke to earn all-American status in the event. His time of 53.20 set a new school record in the event, as well.

Findlay competes on the fourth and final day of the championship tomorrow, March 12.
