Top-10 Individual Performances | #8 Camilo Marrugo

The Oilers had another incredible year as multiple student-athletes saw success at both the conference and national level. In order to further honor those accomplishments, Findlay's media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.

#8 | Camilo Marrugo | Men's Swimming & Diving

Freshman Camilo Marrugo began his career at Findlay with a bang, earning four all-American awards in his inaugural season. He earned the all-American accolades in the 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay, and 400-yard medley relay.

The 2022 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Freshman of the Year, Marrugo had a hand in setting five school records for the Oilers this season. He established a new record in the 100-yard freestyle (43.74), 200-yard medley relay (1:25.66), 400-yard medley relay (3:11.26), 200-yard freestyle relay (1:18.65), and 400-yard freestyle (2:56.79). He also won league titles in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay, and 200-yard freestyle relay to earn first team all-conference honors.
