Comments from Coach Makepeace
We had a good day at Ashland, but not quite like the day the Roughnecks (wrestling team) had in taking home the major hardware (winning the conference championship). It was such an exciting day in Ashland for Findlay and we are very happy for our wrestling squad!
Our meet was a tune up for the team to prepare for the G-MAC/MEC Championship next month. It was really nice to see much of the practice put into performance as we wind down toward our biggest week of the year in Canton! We are in peak performance prep mode daily in the Sink, so seeing our squad in action was a nice break for some healthy competition.
I know we are getting excited and the energy we had today was exceptional. Lots of fun racing and diving that will continue next week as we look to keep sharpening those racing tools at Notre Dame College.
