Stollings and Hornak Named Academic All-American by CSC

CSC Academic All-American Release

Austin, Texas – On Tuesday, March 21, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their selections for Academic All-American status following the conclusion of the 2022-23 swimming and diving seasons. The University of Findlay men were represented as two athletes earned spots. Senior Tim Stollings earned first team academic all-American while junior Adam Hornak earned a spot on the third team. Findlay was the only team represented from the Great Midwest Athletic Conferee (G-MAC).

The selective teams are made up of just 32 athletes, ten on first team, 13 on second team, and nine on third team.

Stollings, a native of Prichard, WV, currently holds a 3.96 cumulative GPA and is a business administration major while Hornak, a data analytics major, holds a 3.97.

The Division II team boasted a 3.84 average GPA with the first team checking in at 3.86.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America® program.
