Simone Green Earns Field Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced their Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Findlay sophomore Simone Green was selected as the Field Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Tiffin Dragon Invite this past weekend.

Green took the top spot in the triple jump in Tiffin, winning the event with a career-best distance of 11.73m (38'6"), a new G-MAC record.

The Toledo, Ohio native also competed in the long jump where she had a career-best jump of 5.76m (18'10.75") that ranks 12th in the country this year and ranks eighth all-time in the G-MAC.
