Marable Named Athlete of the Week

Junior Xavier Marable was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week on April 22.

Marable won the 400-meter dash at the Al Owens Classic this past weekend with a NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time of 47.17. His time set a new G-MAC record and is the seventh-best in the nation this season.

He was also a part of the Oilers 4x100-meter relay team that took home runner-up honors at the event.
