Paige Emnett Earns Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced their track and field Athletes of the Week on Wednesday, May 5. Findlay freshman Paige Emnett picked up the honor after her performance at the Hillsdale Tune-Up this past week.

In the shot put, the event in which she won in the indoor conference championship, Emnett took second in the event with a provisional qualifying throw that measured 14.15m, her best throw of the outdoor season and her last before the outdoor conference championship which begins today. Emnett also took first place in the discus throw with a toss of 47.45m which ranks 19^th in the country this season and ranks third all-time in the G-MAC.
