Cummings Picks Up G-MAC Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio- Junior Eliot Cummings was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week on Jan. 23 for his performance at the Findlay Alumni Classic.

Cummings  took first place in the men's long jump with a distance of 7.47m (24'6"). That distance sets a new program record, breaking the old mark, which was set by Alexander Zolotoglavyy in 2015, by just a half an inch. That jump also meets the NCAA provisional mark and is the fifth-best in the country this season. He then went on to win the triple jump with a mark of 14.12m (46'4").

This is Eliot Cummings' first Great Midwest Athlete of Week honors.
